Orion 7.8 Setup

I am trying to install Orion7.8 in my test environment. I am getting the following two error messages.

I am going to upgrade to 8.5 but i want to test in the test environment the whole procedure before i go ahead.

Any help would be great

The only time I've seen this error it was resolved by removing the .net framework 3.0- reinstall an earlier version of .net (2.0)- also you should restart the Distributed Transaction Coordinator service-

Have you considered getting an Eval or temp key for 8.5 and testing with the latest features? Many changes have been made since 7.8 and you would get a more accurate feel for the product.
