Network Summary Home page - Interfaces are down - IDF Switches

In the Network Summary Home page I’m receiving the following messages for the IDF switches in my network. This is a normal condition since these ports are user ports and they change when the users are in or out of the office.

Network Summary Home Nodes with Problems THE FOLLOWING PROBLEMS SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED CURRENT-RESPONSE-TIME PERCENT-LOSS 21st Floor Node status is UpOne or more interfaces are Down. 1 ms 0 % 25th Floor Node status is UpOne or more interfaces are Down. 1 ms 0 % 24th Floor Node status is UpOne or more interfaces are Down. 1 ms 0 % 23rd Floor Node status is Up

One or more interfaces are Down. 1 ms 0 %

…

I’m only interested when interface 1/1 and 1 /2 goes down or up.

I still need the ability to collect data on the ports that are up on the IDF switch and also be alerted when the port is experiencing packet loss or over utilization for a user port. I just don’t want to be notified when the user reboots their PC or turns it off for the night.
