Utilization thresholds on burstable interfaces

Solarwinds has no answer for this problem... I have 10Mb links to all my sites. I don't care when those interfaces go over 90% or even 100%, it happens every day. Since they are burstable links they are set to 10Mb (so I can get valid statistics), but they can go as high as 12Mb.

The problem is Orion only allows me to set my threshold to 100%. So what happens when my interface exceeds 100%? How do I stop it from showing in the "Interfaces with High Percent Utilization" section?

I wonder, would an SQL filter in your INTERFACES WITH HIGH PERCENT UTILIZATION view work with a filter like this?

NOT (OutPercentUtil > 101 OR InPercentUtil > 101)

I might add...

You could also include your Interface Caption in that NOT statement.

That was the answer. I don't know SQL but Solarwinds did tell me how to construct the filter.

FullName NOT LIKE '*ckt*'

"ckt" is a unique description for all my WAN circuits. Thanks for your help pointing me in the right direction!!
