Custom Mibs

I have been able to create a node using a custom mib and when i test the mib it brings back the data I'm looking for. After the node is created it doesn't show the data. How do I get the data into the web interface? We want to monitor these readings.

You need to modify some views and add some custom poller charts and tables to the web interface. The custom poller status is probably the most helpful one to add first as it will list each of your custom pollers and what their value is in a basic table form.You can specify the custom MIB poller by clicking Edit Resource

I have managed all of the above but get "No Data" back when I display the web page. I noticed some older posts with the same problem. is there a fix for this?

I also encountered the same situation. I'm using Orion V9.0.

In the Universal Device Poller, when defined the OID and i go through the wizard's 'TEST" button, i can see that it gets the table values.

But when assigned to the specific NODE, it doesn't capture any data at all .

Here are my settings:

OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.21317.1.3.2.30.2.2.2.1.1

Name: ATEN SmartPDU

MIB Value Type: Raw Value

Format: TEXT

SNMP Get type: GET TABLE

Polling Type: Node

Keep Historical Data: Yes

Status: Enabled

Group: Default Group

In the "Assign Poller" wizard, I again hit the "TEST" button and i can see that the customer poller does get the values.

in this case a series of values like :

0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10.....

However, after assignment, and even after 2 hours, there is no data in the Poll result window.

So i know that it is not an issue with the defined views. There is just no data in it.

Any ideas or help? Thanks in advance

what resource are you trying to show the data? Is it chart or table?

Hi Pavel,

I am using GET TABLE to get the values (for the table). So i guess to answer your question, it is the table.

But i also want to be able to show a chart/graph of power consumption per outlet over time. Is that possible? if so, how does one go about achieving this?
