Cannot add a process to monitor...

Oke here goes...
I have removed all the old Solarwinds items using the uninstall and have cleaned up the server.
Installed Network Performance Monitor 7.8.5 and the Application Monitoring software.
Now I can add nodes with no problem and monitor the interfaces and all the other stuff but I cannot add any process to monitor.
When clicking the Application Monitor button it display's me the processes running on the server together with an hour glass. I can select the processes with the hour glass but cannot confirm the screen. Pressing the OK button makes it click but it does not close the screen. Hitting the Cancel button closes the screen but does not add the selected processes. The program does not seem to be hanging...
Anybody any ideas...???
I am running Windows 2003 with SP1...
