help required in configuring NPM alerts

Dear All,

I am currently configuring NPM for our organization. And organization requires to see all active critical alerts and all active informational alerts in separate small subview on main console where other sub views like acitve alerts etc reside.Is there any way i can do that in NPM.

Well you are going to have an issue there imediately because there is no such thing as an active or informational alert. There is only active alerts and events. So what you really want is either active alerts or last events. You can put this on the home screen by going to customize page and searching both mentioned when you hit the + on your desired column.

Thanks for the reply james.I already have last events and ative alerts in main console.But what i was looking for was a resource which could just show me filtered informational alerts and filtered critical alerts seperately in its separate small compartment/sub view just like active alerts and last 25 events had.

Gotcha,

All you have to do is customize view and hit + to which colum you want. Search for custom table and submit. Edit resourse, change datasourse and change node to alerts from the dropdown and all alerts get selected by default. Under columns select date, time or whatever you want displayed. Repeat process for events except choose events instead of alerts. Add an addtional condition and then select informational. Try that.
