What are VSAN's exactely ?

Hi,

I've added 2 FC switches to my NPM 10.1 hoping they would be managed as VSAN swithes but I only see them as normal network devices ( brocade ).

How do you add VSAN devices and what are they exactly

VSAN or Virtual Storage Area Networks are similar to VLAN's in the regular networking world. VSAN is a Cisco specific implementation. Brocade & McData call these Zones. Unfortunantly, since Brocade does not expose Zones via SNMP we don't currently gather that information. If you are interested in this information, our Profiler product uses the CLI to gather Zone info on Brocade.
