Configuring alerts remotely

This may or may not have been asked before.  Is there a way to create/configure alerts remotely?  The only way I am aware of is connecting on the Orion server itself either thru RDP or console.

As I add more Orion admins, I do not want to give them access to the server itself.

My understanding, and I think I watched this in one of their videos, is that it's only possible to configure alerts from the console itself, and not the Web Interface.
