Are any SW customers using SQL R2? Have you encountered any problems? If so, did you back out to SQL 2008 or work around the problem?
Feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks,
The version we have here is "Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (SP1)" with "Enterprise Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 6.0 (Build 6002: Service Pack 2)" and it is running just fine. I'm not sure if that's the "R2" you're looking for. Hope that helps.

Hey Jason--
I think you already know this but I want anyone else reading the thread to as well. NPM does not support SQL 2008 R2 yet--it's slated for next release.

I am aware of this however not support and non-functional are two serperate things.
We are just in the process of a new SQL instance and server and the server guys want to install R2 and since you are releasing R2 support in the next versoin we are curious as to if others are using it and is it functional?
What about R2 makes it unsuported? Just asking qustions at this point in order to make a sound decision thats best for our organization.

Mainly we have not tested formally on it and validated everything works ok
