Nested Maps
Garry
I have nested maps 2 deep in Orion Map maker and can not get the map to carry a down device indication to the parent map. I've set the Map status from the Default 80% to 1%.
Is the map not counted as an element in Map Maker?
Anyone have a suggestion?
Thanks

Set all of your maps to 100% up instead.

Garry,
Set the map status to 100%, otherwise you won't get an alert on the parent map until 99% of the devices on the nested map are down.
The 100% status, means all devices must be up for the map icon to be green. If one device goes down, then it will change to red.

Hi
I am also having the same issue. I have nested maps 3 deep. My threshold is set to 100% and all show child status is checked. Basically the status is following through to the next level up, but will not show status as yellow on the top level map.
What we have is World map, then europe map, then london map with all devices on it. One of our devices is down, you can see this on the london map, and also on the europe map, but at top level world map, the status is still green for europe. Can you through any advice my way?
Regards
Martin
