i want modify map properties using sql, i want to add or change nodes in map using sql?
is it possible to do same things?
No. you can only be able to open the Map studio file in Network Atlas .
Once you saved it saved as file in DB.
I dont understand why do you want to do that ?
because i have plenty of nodes and it requires much time to add them in atlas.
everyone who build up huge network using 1000 nodes, does they add each nodes by hand? i want to do it automatically.
i thought about arrangment of Vlan, and guess that if i would create samples how to be arranged(for example ten switch) and give each point different path(switch IP), save them and again do the same act, it have been much easier to create whole network picture. everything will look like schematic.
i found some links
is it useful?
Anytime you run a sonar discovery in NPM the nodes will show up in Network Atlas, so you can mass add them through the web interface.
I've wanted to do this also, so I can have a map that I designed that looks pretty, and multiple others that represent all the monitored items at that location/in that subnet. I think what I am going to do is create a dynamic group for each of those locations based on IP, then add that group to the map. (this even sets me up for dependencies). When I click on that group (on the map), it will still show me each node to drill into. It's not exactly what you are looking for, but it could accomplish your goal.
