Migration to NPM10 on new server: export and import only device definitions?

Hi,

i have to migrate NPM from 8.5 to 10 in combination with installing the application to a new server hardware.
since it is not possible to upgrade from 8 to 10 directly i would like to skip this and just install NPM10 on the new server.

of course i want to avoid to make all the device and settings configuration for the new NPM10 database from the scratch.

is there a useful way to export just the device definitions from my v8 and importing them to the new v10 installtion?

if not, how would you do this kind of migration process?
