Help !!!!
I'm trying to add a new node to the system manager but when I try to list resources for that node its comeback with a error saying check the snmp string or make sure the device is pingeable.
I verify the snmp community string which it is right I can ping the node OK and I have a green Icon.
by the these nodes are located in Amsterdam,NL I have other nodes in NL and there OK.
What else can I check ? Could it be a polling issue?
any Ideals???

I typically use a program called GetIf (google for it) to make sure SNMP is working correctly. If GetIf reports that SNMP is not working, I check the server for configuration problems. 99.9% of the time it's a config issue on the device, not SW (for me at least).

Do you have an Access list on the device that's preventing communication ?
