Is it difficult to roll back the NPM poller software from version 10.2 back to 10.1.3?
Our database is stored on a differnet server.
It is extremely difficult to roll back from 10.2.x to 10.1.x, there have been significant changes in the database with the update. The easiest solution is to restore the Database when you backed up the database prior to the 10.2 upgrade.
What is the reason for why you are downgrading from 10.2.x to 10.1.x?
Unscheduled upgrade...whoops. I thought I was doing the right thing by upgrading SolarWinds from our privious version 10.1.3 to the new version 10.2 after migrating to a new server. After I had finished, realized that probably wasn't a smart move.
But I'm running now on 10.2 with no issues so I guess I'm all set.
Now I am trying to figure out how I can recover the custom menu bars and user accounts I had on my privious server.
Did you migrate the SQL Database from the old Server to the New Server? It should have already brought the information over. If you are using a different Database, you will need to use our WebBackup Utility.
