Network Performance Monitor (NPM)
Last Boot Time
dhutchings
Guys,
I've got a server that is continually logging "Server x has rebooted" alerts approximately every half hour, but the server does not actually reboot. I know this, because i've been active on the server in question when alerts have come in.
Additionally, if I reboot said server myself, no alert is generated from Orion.
I've looked at scheduled jobs, and the only thing that is running is an asset tracking program that runs on the 7th of every month. For argument's sake, I disabled it and the alerts still come. Antivirus scheduled update and scan does not occur until 5PM each night, and the previous night's was successful so there should be no reason for this process to be continually running throughout the day.
The server itself is Win2k SP3, with hotfixes as current as Sunday AM.
Does anyone have an idea what would be causing this? Or where Orion looks to log the last boot date so I can attempt to determine what is changing it?
