I understand that SNMP is not gathered and nodes aren't alerted on when they are unmanaged... the question is: Is a nodes availibility calculated differently when it is unmanaged... does the time it spends unmanaged (and usually down) count against its availibility metric or is that time essentially disregarded for availibility calculations.
