Interface in an Unknown State

Recently, we have seen more and more devices start showing up with the "One or more interfaces are in an Unknown state". I have gone to each node (mostly servers) and unchecked the interface in question, but that doesnt seem to help.

The servers are up and running w/o any issue, except for this little issue.

Has anyone seen this, and know a way to resolve it?

Nope.

BTW - I was able to sucessfully remove a couple of interfaces, and re-poll/re-discover the node, and it worked as expected.

Please try to rediscover and poll now,I believe it should be working fine.

Was there any changes made on the server recently?Looks like more of a sync issue,its hard to say without looking deeper in the logs.I would suggest to open a support ticket to dig in deeper.

no change to the Orion server during that period. Since this post, I did upgrade the NTA to version 3.8.0. I have another device I am removing some monitored interfaces on today - lets see how this works out.
