We're putting in 52" LCDs in our NOC and the standard font sizes aren't legible. Is there an easy way to force Orion to use larger fonts on the web page?
I hate to keep bringing this up because it's so "brute force", but for your NOC displays, you can make a copy in IIS of your Orion website and run it on another IP or port. Then, you can make changes to that site's .css file without affecting the non-NOC site.
Either that, or you can make a copy of whatever static page you are viewing on your NOC screen (if it's just a page or two) and the .css file, edit the .css file to your liking, and point the copied pages at that .css file instead of the default.
Unfortunately, Orion is currently not customizable on a per-user basis.
Check the Inetpub/SolarWinds directory and take a look at the css files; specifically the SolarWinds.css.
I see Solarwinds.css, but wouldn't changes there impact all viewers and not just the LCD display?
I guess I'm looking to be able to implement larger font sizes based on a user account.
Will do...many thanks!
Hi,
Anyone know what file should I edit to increase the font size ?
I would like to increase font size of resources like "Current traffic on All interfaces" or "top 10" for only one view, is it possible ?
See this thread for a way to increase the font size for NOC view pages only: The view for our Help Desk
