Is Orion querying VMWare for VM info?

I am tyring to determine what is causing some entries in the vmware messages log that indicate that my ESX host is having the number of VMs queried.  This is the entry:

Apr 29 12:09:01 SGP2RYC12S03 snmpd[1612]: SNMPVmodlRefreshCache: Examining 49 VMs found.

Is Orion performing this query?  If so, can I configure Orion to not query for VM count?  In fact, I don't want Orion querying for anything besides what I configured.

Hi,

We query information about the VMs from ESX using the VMware MIBs with OID prefixes:

1.3.6.1.4.1.6876.2

1.3.6.1.4.1.6876.3

These tables have information about the VMs.  We get back lists of information about the VMs and from those lists we infer the count of VMs.

We automatically try to poll nodes to see if they are ESX servers and then start to poll them for their VM data.  Currently, there is no configuration to disable this.
