Blank interfaces during discovery

So I ran a Network Sonar discovery on 4 VMware ESX servers and they came up with these interfaces. Any idea what these are? Why would they be blank?

Hi ttl,

this means that the interface description is not defined for this interface type. There are various interface types grouped under this blank description. The interface was normaly discovered and will be polled properly, it has blank description only.
