Possible to use Seed File to add more nodes?

Question

I want to know if it is possible to use a seed file to add more nodes to an existing netperfmon database?

I need to add about 113 more devices and want to avoid adding them 1 at a time. From what I read it looks like the seed file is designed for the initial load only.

Am I wrong?

What do I need to do in order to add nodes for ICMP only and not SNMP?

You would create the seed file with the IPs of the nodes you want to add.

Run the Discovery; choose to use a new discovery db. Choose to use a seed file. Run the discovery, and import those new nodes and resources.
