Tuning SLX Server

We have our Orion SLX server running on a HP DL360, Server 2003, 3.4Ghz Processor, 15K drives, 2GB ram - monitoring 744 nodes and 2609 interfaces.
The WWW interface just crawls...
Any suggestions of some nerd-knobs to turn to speed things up?

hey don,

we had similar problems. what really boosted performance : create a simple start page with very few nodes and information displayed. this significantly improved the performance of the web interface.

A simple thing I saw on other posts... helped us alot with 7000+ elements and climbing. Exclude the Solarwinds directory from Virus Scanning.

What's your DB size? Is your DB running on the same box as Orion? If not, what's the hardware spec for your DB server?
