Node down not appearing in events table

Hi, i think the database i am using has got a bit corrupt (possibly because i was messing around with it)
now, when a node goes down, the alert is triggered and an email sent ok, but the event doesn't apear in the events table (or the events on the Currnet NPM Events.
does anyone have any idea why this might be?

What exactly do you mean you were "messing around with it"?

Try running the configuration wizard again. This should fix any corrupt db tables
