Huge descrepency between Orion NPM and Engineers Edition NPM

I have the Engineers Toolset and decided to try the 30 day eval of the Orion NPM to see if it would complement the Engineers Toolset. They are installed on different machines. Out of curiosity and concerns over some network issues I decided to do a comparison of charts betwen the Engineers edition NPM and Orion NPM. Boy was I surprised at what I got. Snap shots of the exact same timeframe of the same device are almost total opposites. The Engineer's is showing substantial packet loss while the Orion shows none. Which do I believe?

Unfortunately this is not enough information for us to tell you why there is such a large discrepancy. If you could provide us a PCAP of the traffic, we could quickly get to the bottom of this problem.

In general, Toolset send pings much more regularly than NPM does (NPM defaults to ever 2 minutes). So you might be seeing a difference simply because Toolset is pinging more frequently. Also, they handle responses differently and the pings might be being averaged out in NPM where Toolset continue to show every single data point. Other than a Wireshark capture of the traffic, a few more comparison graphs with shorter time frames might highlight some issues (ex: 1 hour or 15 minutes). 

Toolset is intended to be more of a troubleshooting tool and NPM a continous monitor and hisotrical systemso Toolset will sometimes have more granular data than NPM.
