Nodes grouped by vendor

All,

At the moment the All Nodes view I've got grouped by vendor, status.

The system has automatically picked devices such as APC / HP Printers / Vmware and correctly identified the devices, however we have a number of IBM and HP servers, what the system seems to do is group this under the heading Windows. However what I would like is to group these under the manuf headers for example

HP---->Windows----->Server Name

Or even

Windows----HP----->Server Name

Windows----IBM----->Server Name

Same goes for the Novell OS. It seems to group the systems correctly under the OS, but I would like to sub group by manufacturer as well

Would I need to use a custom Property to extract this the way I want

If the existing properties do not give you enough flexibility, yes this is the next step.

Note that you can easily populate Custom Properties based on other fields using T-SQL Queries, train yourself on a backup of your database if you are not used with SQL syntax.
