There is nice feature at new Orion website displaying status, IP address, node type, etc. when pointing with mouse on map, node or interface .... But, is there any way to manage that popup content at Orion website?
Jaroslaw, there are some instructions on how to do this in the Network Atlas documentation. Here is a link to the topic:
Customizing Orion Web Console Tooltips
What do you mean by manage, is there something specific you are looking for it to do?
I would like to see "location" as well Status , IP address and type of switch. I can not find any place to select what I can see there. Is that default NPM setting or can I decide what is displayed when pointing switch on the map by mouse?
Jarolsaw,
Try to open this page on your Orion. It should bring up a ToolTip page where you can customize what you want to show (any custom property) for the node.

Thanks Sotherls,
Probably your advice would help me with customizing tips but when I tried to open the link I got redirected to "http://my_orion/NetPerfMon/View.asp?NetObject="
Maybe that is "beauty" of my Orion installation.
I will install SP3 and Hotfix 1 then go back to the issue.
Thanks Roger,
I've checked that and it seems to be exactly what I need :-)
Roger,
Is the customization only available for tooltips in maps? Is there any way to do this for the pop ups when I hover over a node or interface icon on a details or summary page?
Yes, this currently only applies to maps at this time, we have an enhancement in the system to allow exactly this in a future release
Will the node and interface hover capability be added this year or beyond? We are very much interested in being able to get more info on a node by hovering without having to open the node view. This would help our NOC respond more quickly to outages.
