Another upgrade path question 9.1-9.5

After reading a lot of threads on thwack I have to say it sounds like this upgrade has a lot of ups and downs.

What we are looking to do is upgrade the following and wondering the correct upgrade path and best apps to upgrade to:

NPM v9.1 SP4 -> NPM v9.5 SP4?

NTA v3.1 -> NTA v3.5 SP2?

What are the steps to go through to do that? What should we be looking out for?

If you download the latest 9.5 bits from the customer portal, it should have SP4 bundled in with it

This should be fine. What OS and DB are you currently on? With 9.5 we dropped 2000 support, so make sure you are good there. Also, with 9.5 we require SQL CLR to be enabled, which we attempt to do via the installer.

Thanks for the link to KB - I have passed it over to our server team and see what they come back with. I read somewhere that you need v9.5 to install SP4 so can I not go direct from v9.1 Sp4 to v9.5 SP4?

I am working on some NTA demo with Chris and may wait the outcome on that before upgrading anyway.

Really appreciate your help with this,
