I had a quick read through this,... very good. i would however, like to see a little more detail on custom poller impact, i.e. number of them per node, how they are polled on the same frequency as the node etc..

Definitely more information on what the diference is between the 2 diferent polling parameters in the tuning tool...

also, the impact of reducing polling on specific element types... i for example of reduced the polling interval to 20 mins, and 30 mins for stats collection on all hard disk volumes... what sort of impact would this have compared to leaving them as default... i.e. 10 volumes at default, vs. 10 volumesm stretched out to 30 mins..

some of this is dificult to quantify, but if i were to follow this guide, then it would imply that my system is totally over-specced, as none of my boxes are above 40% on any resource, and low disk queues, yet we still get crappy web performance at random times through the day...
