Web page refresh Customisation

I've been looking throughout the Orion Web GUI trying to find is it possible to set the page refresh rate at different times for different Profiles/Accounts.

I have found the refresh rate option in the Web interface configuration menu but it seems to be a global setting. We have teams who use Orion who require different time intervals for the page refresh. ie Our NOC requires the 1 minute interval and for their Map screens while other groups who view long syslog reports or alerts prefer a longer interval as the page keeps refreshing and returning to the top of the page. The page refreshing and rutrning to the top of the screen can be a major frustration when viewing a long report.

So my question in a nutshell is, is it possible the have different browser page refresh times for different accounts or porfile views?

P.S I am aware of the option of turning off the Meta Refresh option in IE browser but this is only a temporary solution we're hope that there is a more permanent one within Orion instead.

Unfortunately, that's not possible on a per account basis. I'll take it as a feature request.

I had the exact same issue and since there was not an option to do this in Orion I found a product called YRefresher which is an IE plugin that supports custom refresh settings.

It's not the exact solution I hoped for but it is an efficient work around.

It would be a very helpful feature, I will try the Y refresher but it will probably be just as easy to turn off the meta refresh when using the web GUI, thanks again

Please add this as a feature request. My executives HATE the 1 minute refresh that I must have for my engineers....

Is this still on the Feature Request list? We need the 1 minute refresh for our NOC, but it drives everyone else nuts.

As above - accounts such as the NOC wallboard display need a 1 minute refresh while other accounts are fine to be on a 5/10/15min refresh. In the meantime I'll look into providing a plugin for IE that auto refreshes as mentioned in this thread.

There are now several browser plugins that can accomplish this task....when I first looked into the issue it was hard to find something. We now use a plugin for chrome but there are also ones for firefox and IE. Also after years of doing this I no longer feel it should be built into the product too many variables especially when it is easy to do with a lightweight plugin. Just my two cents.
