Hi All,
I have just installed a second WebConsole for our Orion box (9.5.1) - it seemed to install fine, but the configuration wizard did not complete - it spat out the following errors;
Services configuration failed:
• Can not change dependencies of 'NetPerfMonService'
• Error starting Service (NetPerfMonService), Service NetPerfMonService was not found on computer '.'.
• Can not change dependencies of 'SolarWindsSyslogService'
• Error starting Service (SolarWindsSyslogService), Service SolarWindsSyslogService was not found on computer '.'.
• Can not change dependencies of 'SolarWindsTrapService'
• Error starting Service (SolarWindsTrapService), Service SolarWindsTrapService was not found on computer '.'.
• Can not change dependencies of 'SWJobSchedulerSvc'
• Error starting Service (SWJobSchedulerSvc), Service SWJobSchedulerSvc was not found on computer '.'.
• Can not change dependencies of 'SWJobEngineSvc'
• Error starting Service (SWJobEngineSvc), Service SWJobEngineSvc was not found on computer '.'.
• Can not change dependencies of 'OrionModuleEngine'
• Error starting Service (OrionModuleEngine), Service OrionModuleEngine was not found on computer '.'.
I tried to check the website which should have been installed and i get the following errors;
The Orion website is currently unable to display this page. Orion polling and alerting services often continue running, though this page cannot be displayed. Please take the following steps to attempt to alleviate the issue: - Log in to the website again and navigate to another Orion page, allowing you to isolate the error to this page.
- Ensure the Orion services are still running.
- Check that your SQL Server is still running and accessible.
Please notify SolarWinds of this error. We will address and help you fix the issue. Your specfic error is: Version string portion was too short or too long. |
