Bogus interfaces on Juniper routers and switches

Question

Is there a way to automatically exclude the (seemingly) bogus interfaces that are on all Junipers? For instance there's always an interface like ge-0/0/1 and a ge-0/0/1.0. Both of them are the same and I think even have the same SNMP stats, so I don't need both of those being tracked. There are also things like ge-0/0/1.32767 and other crap like lc-0/1/0 and pfe-1/0/0 that we just don't need to track or get stats on. Easy to just uncheck but when we're importing a lot of devices, and stacks of EX switches with hundreds of interfaces, it's not so easy. So, any ideas?

In the Network Discovery under Motioning Settings, select Automatically monitor based on my defined monitoring settings, then select Define Monitoring settings, and you are able to filter based on Interface Name, Type, Description, Alias, VLAN ID. The middle selection includes regex as an option to include or exclude.

Let me try from another angle - is there no way to filter discovery and automatic interface adds based on some sort of criteria (regex, interface type, or etc.)?
