Looking at one of these products but which is best for the job Orion or LANsweeper?

My company needs to discover its network so I am looking at many products but can't decide on these.

We need to know whats on the network and what new comes on the network also.

I am new to Solarwinds can it do the same thing as Lansweeper can do reports for my manager about network inventory and more?
