From one day to the next all emailed reports change in format and display. Any ideas for a solution? These reports are generated using Report Writer not Web-Based.

Email infrastructure (or security appliance) eating the attachments?
I agree with d09h Looks to me like something has changed on your email infrastructure. If it didn't need authentication before, maybe it needs it now?
I've been seeing this as well in our environment.
Only comes through when I want a report to send as HTML.
If i send it with .PDF attachments there is no problem, only when HTML is in the message body.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure how long ago it started but i'm guessing a month or 2 ago (we've been updating a lot lately)
If it helps at all i've look into the contents of these .bin files and they all seem to be HTML resources.
jQuery
CSS files
Email Files
Are you using Outlook on a MAC?
Nope, I have also since verified that these .bin files are visible when sent to a gmail account. Although they come through with no extension, they still come through.
No, no mac. Again nothing changed, from one day to the next the report emails from SolarWinds started being treated differently. I know why its happening(HTML content order related); but why now after 10+ years.
Did anyone find a solution to this? I am having the same exact issue.
No solution. Right now I would blame changes with Microsoft and Exchange/Office 365. Nothing changed in my environment but we do use Exchange Online, so we are at the mercy of Microsoft and any changes they make in they way the handle/translate/interpret system generated emails. Online topics surrounding ATTXXXX.bin attachment are related to HTML content order and the way mail system handles such content. I'm unaware of any way to force Exchange to handle such emails a certain way.
And just like that it's fixed; no changes made and now no more attachments. Microsoft must have changed something with the Exchange/Office 365 Online outage. All my morning reports had attachments, the afternoon reports are back to normal.
That's bizarre, mine didn't change at all and we're using EXO as well.
Hoping if there were some changes, they are making their way to my side as well!
I'm still good this morning; all morning reports look normal now. Hope it heads your way as well.
Wish I had seen this earlier. We've been having the same issue and after getting Microsoft and SolarWinds Support on the line we were eventually told to vote on a feature request:

Checking through our hourly reports it looks like they had the issue at 12:16 AM EST on Wednesday morning and it went away by 1:16 AM. Interesting.
Some additional details for posterity: We're running Windows 10 / Office365 / Outlook 2016.
