Alert Supression Problem

Hi all, i've got a really big problem with this, actually i have this topologie: 2 routers conected to the WAN

and a switch connected to the two routers. I wan to sent an alert if the switchs goes down and one of the router or the two are up, i want to supress the alert if all the routers are down.

I already open a ticket in SolarWinds Support but i have nos reponse from them.

Plz help me!!

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed quite a few posts recently that are similar to this? I would really like this functionality as well. This would be solved by the ability to "group nodes" or basically the ability to create a hierarchy for nodes that the advanced alert engine could use.

Ok, i really dont know if anyone has listen about this, but, could i do that? is possible with the options we have in the 8.1 version? simpli question.. is posibble???? i dont see anything about group nodes, only with the custom propetys fields, but in this case im unable to configure the alert coorectly, any ideas???

You can do this using custom properties, but it's a manual process. We will make this more automatic in a future release.

I already know i can do this, actually is working in this way, but the problem is other, i cannot set the supression correctly beacuse when one router is down and the another up the alarm is supressed!!!! can i add a custom property with the state of another nodes? amybe two custom property, the first routerA must have the state of the Router1 and the other custom property RouterB must have the state of the Router2, is this posiible? or is any way to make my alert supression work fine?
