I am currently in the middle of an upgrade from 7.0.2 to 7.2.2. As I understand it, everything has been pulled into the web console. If that is the case, does that mean the thick application will no longer work?

The desktop application is going to be decomissioned in the upcoming NCM 7.4 release. Up to 7.3.2, the thick client is still there.

The thick client is still there, however certain aspects of it take you to a web interface as the thick client functionality is no longer there. I recently discovered that I can no longer go into my jobs in the scheduler and edit it in order to look at the script it contains. This used to work in the thick client, but does not in the web interface. You can't get to the script without scheduling the job. Very annoying.
