NetPath not polling

I've created a NetPath to poll from a server to the vendor via their VPN connection. I get the "First Poll not yet complete." But when checking the firewall I never see an attempt from that server to the port that I've designated. I could use some diagnostic suggestions.

I just manually uninstalled the agent from the server, then added it back into NPM for monitoring via Agent. After the agent was re-installed I created it as a new polling agent, built the NetPath and boom it's working. Looks like previously installed agents were the problems.

Did you keep your polling options set to normal? It could take up to 10 minutes for it to poll or give you an unreachable message depending on what you set your polling interval.

I built this yesterday and haven't seen any traffic on that port from the server yet. I checked and the agent is installed and running on the server, I even tried restarting the agent.

Double check your port and probe settings just to ensure everything is set correctly and going where you would want it to. I would try building a path to a hop just inside and just outside your firewall that uses the same port to make sure NetPath is functioning correctly.
