Advance ASA Monitoring - VPN Tunnel Alerts

Is there a way to alert for VPN Tunnel up and down time? What is your recommended practice on this? SNMP OIDs?

Well if the vpn's are configured on an asa, then solarwinds natively supports vpn monitoring, if not, oid for the device and custom node poller alert.
