I need to have a high level view of a tri state area with several hundred sites. At a high level the map is more of a reference for our locations then anything else but really not that usable for a NOC (severe resolution limitions in current available hardware). I would like to be able to click on the high level map (or a site) and move down to a state level (individual state maps) then a city map, then a office map.
I need to replicate the dynamic links from the state level to a higher regional level without replicating the work. Yes I could just create a state map and then a regional and move some several hundred icons around on both but that doesn't seem like fun yet.
So can I pull the the dynamic link (office icons) from the state map and somehow import that over a regional map and still maintain valid link status regardless of what map level I'm at? So in the end my high level is a combined view of dynamic links from three sub maps.
Oh yeah this is for Ver 8.
