Hı,
l got a below error message when l used netflow configurator.
Which Cisco device does Netflow Configurator support ? How can l resolve this problem?
Thanks,
Só I think you can contact cisco support. Or show this information in cisco foruns.
May be you need to do upgrade in firmware.
I think it might be easier if you say which model device you are trying to use netflow on. From my understanding it supports a lot of devices.
lt is cisco 2960c switch
That model does not support/does not have NetFlow.
Here's a list of Cisco devices that support NetFlow:
Device
Supported
Cisco 800, 1700, 2600
Yes
Cisco 1800, 2800, 3800
Cisco 4500
Cisco 6500
Cisco7200, 7300, 7500
Cisco 7600
Cisco 10000, 12000, CRS-1
Cisco 2900, 3500, 3660, 3750
No
That particular switch does not support netflow. It usually requires layer 3. You can tell if a cisco device and software that it has supports netflow if you type: show ip flow export.
Switch:
3750#show ip flow export
Flow export v9 is enabled for main cache
Export source and destination details :
VRF ID : Default
Source(1) 10.x.x.x (Loopback12)
Destination(1) 10.x.x.x (2055)
Version 9 flow records
0 flows exported in 0 udp datagrams
0 flows failed due to lack of export packet
0 export packets were sent up to process level
Nexus5548# show ip flow export ?
^
% Invalid command at '^' marker.
?
5ks can do netflow, they just have to have a certain module installed that I don't have.
Routers:
CISCO3925#show ip flow export

2199146348 flows exported in 224502584 udp datagrams
0 export packets were dropped due to no fib
6 export packets were dropped due to adjacency issues
0 export packets were dropped due to fragmentation failures
0 export packets were dropped due to encapsulation fixup failures
