How to monitor multiple devices in NPM

Hi All,

We have around 500 network switches in a network. I just want to monitor the UP/Down status of the switches. If the node goes down, then i should get a mail for the same. Please help me to configure the same in Solarwinds.

There is a basic default pre-configured alert for it out-of-the-box. Just go to ALERTS and search for something like "Alert me when node goes down". Go and explore it and see how it is built. You can add additional filtering criteria as needed

Settings>Manage Alerts>

Edit the alert.

Play with filter part and you should be good to go!!!
