Universal Poller in version 9

I just upgraded to version 9 and there is a lot to like there. Regarding the Universal Device Poller, I think it is pretty intuitive and an improvement, but are there any plans to produce a tutorial on its use, or perhaps a short webinar ?

Mine is not working, says "Could not reach JobScheduler service after 3 retries". Poller is not polling, none of my existing values update. I looks like it will work good, but it doesn't for me.

You are getting this after importing the MIB Pollers from 8.5.1? (listed under File -> Import Universal Device Poller)

Try restarting the Orion services.

Start-> Solarwinds Orion-> Advacne Features-

Launch the red icon for the Orion Service Manager. Right click on the SolarWinds Job Scheduler and select Restart. When the service returns to a running state, test the poller.

I have tried this numerous times, reloaded Orion twice, installed .NET 3.5 SP1 Beta, nothing is working. I have a ticket open and hopefully support will find some issues that I can correct with the DB.

Was this problem ever resolved? I have this same problem now after moving to a domain server that is owned by our server team.

We don't know about what you're seeing to know if it's the same problem. Can you open a Support ticket and attach diagnostics?

Just FYI - The problem is when using the Universal Device Poller and assigning a label to a 'Table' Poller. 'Use labels from a table column' Testing is fine, select the column to use then select Finish.

What was the eventual resolution of this problem? I seem to be experiencing the same problem. I am creating a new universal poller. Poller tests fine but upon completion recieve the same message, "Could not reach Job Scheduler service after 3 retries". The poller appears to have been created and I can map it to a device page but the actual polling never occurs.
