CISCO-EnvMonTemperatureStatus Table instead of simple value

seems new cisco devices now have a table instead of a single temp entry here

even better they stuck the CPU as first entry on the table

So if you lump it with the others it will show up as way over temp.

Anyone know how to pull the second row of the table to get system temp like all the old ones?

Cant see how to do it in the Universal Device Poller.

From Cisco's SNMP Object Navigator, it indicates that ciscoEnvMonTemperatureStatusTable is 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.3

Just run a snmpwalk from the Orion server to the Cisco device using the following KB: http://knowledgebase.solarwinds.com/kb/questions/3145/

You just check to see the values that are after 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.3

My guess is that the OID should be 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.3.2 if it is indeed at the second row.

Use the OID that you have matched against the snmpwalk results, and use it in UnDP to monitor the temperature. You should be using GET method.

yeah i saw a webpage that said this also on the Solarwinds site

thing is that if you add the .2 to the end of the OID then the UDP doesnt pull the table and returns nothing

so I am still looking on this.

interium fix has been to have it pull the table then select the line you want from the graph and turn the others off.

my main issue with this method is that you have to do it for each and every one of the devices separatly
