UCS Authentication Not Working

We recently installed a Cisco UCS blade system and I am working to get it monitoring. I have setup SNMP and that is successful but the direct HTTP or HTTPS authentication is not working.

I have tried:

- Using the regular local admin user that I always login to UCS with

- Using an OrionService user I created with read-only privileges just for Orion

- Using port 80

- Using port 443

The test to check authentication always fails. HTTP redirection is currently disabled.

Any ideas on anything else I can try to get this to work?

HTTPS is supported in NPM 10.2.1 as a protocol to talk to the UCS

NPM currently does not support HTTPS for UCS monitoring, so you can only use HTTP.

Could you verify that you are using correct port (i.e. 80)? This should be setup somewhere in the UCS manager.

Yes I am using port 80 and tried both 80 and 443 as mentioned in my first post.

I did see that thread but it kind of jumps all over the place with all sorts of different problems. This is how I got my first set of different things to try.

SNMP was the first issue brought up there, which I do have working.

The only thing I see which I can't determine how to do is to set the HTTP redirection for an individual chassis as in mentioned in one post there. UCS manager is typically accessed by the cluster IP address which is what I have been using to verify these settings. After reading this I did try connecting directly to the Chassis IP addresses - but the secondary node wont accept connections anyway and the primary node has redirection disabled.

I've tried both admin user and read-only user.

Don't see any other suggestions for this problem.
