DDNS IP not updated in solarwinds NPM!

Hi all,

I have SolarWinds Orion Network Performance Monitor 9.1 SP3. I need to monitor  one DSL link which have dynamic ip address. i configured that dynamic ip into "dyndns.org" as hostname "purasaicctv.dyndns.org" . whenever DSL link ip changes that ip automatically updated in "dyndns.org" website. i added that "purasaicctv.dyndns.org" hostname in solarwinds. but solarwinds have the old ip address (ip taken when node added) only. new dynamic ip not updated. i done ping to "purasaicctv.dyndns.org" it shows new ip. new ip not updated after Rediscovery also. i checked the "Dynamic IP" check box when i added in npm. kindly suggest me.

Hi Dhakshinamoorthy,

NPM 9.1 is an quite an old version and I afraid it's not supported anymore. I'm pretty sure this problem was fixed in one of the later releases. If you have active maintenance, you can download NPM 10.2.2 from the customer portal, if you are not under active maintenance, you can download NPM 10.2.2 in evaluation 30 days mode and try it on a separate machine
