Generating a report on Solarwinds

How to generate a hourly report for the CPU utilization on a server / for a particular time period .Example from 7 am to 7 pm for a month/Day on Solar winds

You should be able to create a standard report on the web under report management, grabbing the specific server, setting the custom time frame you want, filtering the business hours and summarizing by hour.

I have tried the above but not able to generate report , If you provide the screen shot it would be a great help for me

These Screenshots are using the Report Writer on the SolarWinds server.

Create a new Historical - CPU Load and Memory report.

In the Select Fields add the fields you want to see

In the Filter Results tab, specify the server you want and the time frame:

On the TimeFrame tab set how far back you want the data. From there move to the Summarization tab and set the summary to be hourly. You can then preview the report. It may show the date twice, if so, go to Field Formatting, select the Date field and select the option to make it a hidden field.

Once complete, give the report a name and group, save it and it should then be viewable on the website.

I was trying it on web based reports instead of report writer . I will try this on report writer and update you the status.
