Logging emails sent by Orion?

We are running into a problem where some alerts from Orion (and Cirrus, which lives on the same box) aren't being received. In order to diagnose whether this is an Orion problem or an email problem, is there a way I can generate local logs when the server sends an email?

Mark Could you elaborate on what I should look for after I get these logs? I mean what line represents sent email? I havent noticed anything.

The times I've had to troubleshoot advanced alerts, I would select the "Log the Alert to a file" along with any other trigger and reset actions.  That way I could see if the alert was firing or not.  If I saw an entry in the log file, but didn't receive an email, I knew the issue was email related.  If the log file didn't show the alert, I knew to look at the alert itself.

Collect some diags- by Running this executable C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Orion\SolarWinds.Diagnostics.exe

- and from the results look in Logfiles -> swAlert.log(s) for clues
