Intermittent email alerts.

Hi,

I have configured alerts for when a node goes down and when the node is back online but its intermittent. Sometimes I get the alert when the node goes down but not when it comes back online and sometimes I get the alert when it has come back online and not when it goes down.

Does anyone know why this could be happening ?

Any help will be much appreciated.

I have seen this happen sometimes, but only for net-snmp devices. Is this the case for you as well?
