emailing issues.

when Orion sends an email alert to any email address that is within the same domain everything works fine.
When orion sends an email to an address outside of the configured SMTP gateway domain, lets say to a hotmail account, the email doesnt work.
When sending an email using our current email system, you need outbound authentication (pain in the ass but its out of my control).
this is the error message that i get

I have thought of getting a new email address set up on our server that will forward emails to addresses outside of our domain, but that is a workaround only, i would like this to be working as intended.
