Good Day,
We provide Carrier Services with Metro-Ethernet and one of our subscribers are asking for a very strict SLA for packet loss:
<0.1% Packet Loss per second interval.
I have no idea where they got this criteria, however I would like to know what is the standard that other carriers use for their SLA for Packet Loss. Orion NPM measures percentage packet loss per minute for an hour interval as well as per 15 minute intervals per month. Can anyone assist me in defining what an industry standard is for Ethernet Networks.
Thank you very much for any assistance that can be given.
