Orion 10 Requirements

Hi Everybody,

I've read on the admin guide Orion 10 is compliant with Windows 2003 R2 or Windows 2008 R2, both of them 32 and 64 bits.

I have some doubt about that:

1. Windows 2008 R2 doesn't exist in 32 bit

2. What happens on all the environment where Orion is already installed on Windows 2003, should I upgrade everything to R2?

Is there anybody out there who knows something more?

You are spot on 2008 R2 is x64 only and we do support that.

We also support Windows 2003 x32 and x64.

What other questions do you have?

I've noticed on the Admin guide, page 10.

I can't understand if the product is still compliant with normal Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 (not R2 version)...

Simone is wanting to know if Orion NPM v10 is supported on Windows Server 2003 versions prior to the installation of R2 (i.e. Windows Server 2003 without a SP or Windows Server 2003 SP1).

This is what we support in v10.

Pardon me, but just to verify, SolarWinds Orion still runs only in the 32 bit mode. Correct?
